Day 1: ARRIVAL in Djerba

Reception at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Djerba - Matmata - Douz

Early departure from the hotel in Djerba. Lunch then departure to visit the beautiful oasis of the museum of nature. Then continue to Matmata. Visit to its Berber troglodytic dwellings.

Day 3: Douz - Chatt El Jerid - Tamaghza

Early departure from DOUZ. Break at KEBILI, visit the date market where they have DEGLET ENNOUR the most delicious dates which are exported to many countries.

After crossing the huge dried salt lake of CHOT JERID, demonstration of the special sporting activity: the SPEED SAIL. Continuation to the pearl of the desert: TOZEUR where everything is built of small bricks of honey color. Then, we visit the beautiful museum DAR CHRAIET which is a synthesis of the history of southern Tunisia. After lunch, the next destination will be the 3 mountain oases: CHBIKA - MIDES and TAMERZA which offer you unique landscapes of canyons and unexpected springs in this desert.

Day 4: Tozeur- Kebeli - Tataouine

Tataouine is best known for its terrible prison under the French protectorate, the "Biribi" of sinister memory for the Bat 'of Af', the disciplinary battalions. The expression "It is at Tataouine" is used to indicate a lost place at the end of the world. We visit west of Tataouine the village of Douiret crest. A holy man founded it in the early days of Islam. It was once the obligatory stage between Gabes and Ghadames.

Day 5: Tataouine - El Ksour - Dhiba - Ghadames

Walking in the oasis is classified a heritage of the Humanity by Unesco. The fully vaulted town is illuminated by skylights and surrounded by a palm grove. We will have a traditional meal in a Ghadamsi house with red- dominated walls, copper objects and mirrors. We will also visit a small museum and a workshop for making slippers.

Day 6: Ghadames - Sebha

Classified as World Heritage by Unesco. A journey dedicated to a beautiful walk in the oasis. The fully vaulted town is illuminated by skylights and surrounded by a palm grove. We Visit the small museum and the workshop of manufacture of slippers. In the evening we will watch a beautiful sunset on the big dune. Dinner with folklore and lodging at Sebha.

Day 7: sebha- Aouinet - Maghidet

Early departure to reach Germa, the former Garamantes capital. City of earth, which its walls are still elevating high in the sky, then we’ll visit of the museum and the royal tombs of the Garamantes.

Day 8: Maghidet - Ghat

Departure to MAGHIDET, the capital of the space TOUAREG = Ghât where you have the opportunity to meet the TOUAREG merchants of Niger origin, who came to present their craft products.

Day 9: Akakus

A day will be devoted to the discovery of the jebel Akakus. A particularly spectacular site thanks to its canyons, sand and eroded sandstones games. The stone is made of lace and the sand is gathered in immense fields hemmed in ocher shades. Visit of sites of cave paintings with delicate design, in intimate scenes.

Day 10: Akakus - Mathendoush

Continuation into the desert, to discover the rock carvings of the wadi Matkhendoush. We will admire in particular splendid engravings of cattle, worked in the style of the double outline proper to the Messak. Some of these representations are articulated in complex scenes: confrontation of animals, scenes of hunting which also represent the mythical "men-lycaons" Night under tents.

Day 12: Mathendoush - Erg of Oubari

After two hours of walking we leave in 4x4 towards the Grand Erg of Oubari where the marvelous lakes surrounded by palm trees offer us an unforgettable landscape in a huge ocean of giant dunes. In the evening after filming a beautiful sunset we organize a Saharan wedding (Henna, disguises of the bridegrooms, Tuareg folklore and dance, dinner in an original setting around a large wood fire). Night in luxurious tents.

Day 13: Erg of Oubari - sebha - flight (Sebha - Tripoli)

Crossing in 4x4 of the Grand Erg of Oubari and private flight Sebha / Tripoli. Transfer and dinner in town. Accommodation in a fancy hotel in Tripoli.

Day 14: Tripoli - Djerba

Visit the Museum and the city, the arch of Marcus Aurelius, the mosque of the Gorgi, the medina. Lunch in town. Visit of the square of Algeria and the Italian colonial part marked by the arcades. Dinner Gala in town: Goodbye TRIPOLI.

Day 15: Departure

Transfer to the airport, check-in assistance and return flight.
